Federal Government Scholarship: The 2024 Federal Government Scholarship award for Nigerian students is currently opened. This is a National merit award for well-deserved Nigerian students. The Federal Ministry of Education invites interested and qualified Nigerians to participate in the 2023/2024 Nigerian Scholarship Award (NSA) and Education Bursary Award (EBA) tenable in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions. This scholarship is aimed at providing financial assistance for Nigerian students throughout their study year.

Requirements for FSB Scholarship
FSB Scholarship Categories
This scholarship award is for two categories which are:
1. National Scholarship Award
The FSB National Scholarship Award is the category of the Federal Government Scholarship that is opened to students of tertiary institutions which include, University, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education.
2. Education Bursary Award
The FSB Education Bursary Award is opened for students studying education related courses in Nigeria tertiary institutions. This is to foster the growth of education development in Nigeria and to motivate students to attain high academic performance in education and research.

Nigerian Scholarship Award
The eligibility criteria for the Nigerian Scholarship Award is as follows:
- Applicants for Postgraduate studies should possess a minimum of a first degree with the Second Class Honours Division. Applicant must be a registered Full-Time student of Federal or State Universities.
- All other applicants (Undergraduates, HND & NCE) must be registered full-time students in their second year or above in Federal or State Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics, and Colleges of Education. All undergraduate Scholarship applicants (Physically challenged inclusive) must have at least 4.0 Cumulative Grade Points Aggregate (CGPA) on a five (5) point scale or its equivalents or 5.0 on a 7-point scale.
- All NCE and HND applicants must have a CGPA of 3.5 and above on a scale of 4.0

The eligible fields of study for the National Scholarship Award are as follows:

v. Liberal Arts/Social/Management Sciences

Education Bursary Award
The eligibility criteria for the Education Bursary Award is as follows:
Applicants must be registered students studying education in Nigerian College of Education and Universities.
Applicants must be full-time students
All applicants including persons with disabilities must be in their second year or above.
A beneficiary of any subsisting scholarship is not eligible

Step 5: Log in to your application dashboard using the email address and password you provided during the registration process.
Step 6: Within your dashboard, carefully fill in all the required details, ensuring accuracy in all information provided.
Step 7: Upload the necessary documents as specified in the application requirements section, ensuring they meet the specified format and size criteria.
Step 8: Select your preferred CBT center from the options provided, choosing the location that is most convenient for you to attend.
Step 9: Review all the information provided and documents uploaded to ensure everything is correct and complete.
Step 10: Once you have verified all details, click on the “Submit” button to finalize and submit your application for the FSB scholarship award.
